Theodore Mascarenas joined BRS, Inc. as a Mining & Explosive Engineer in 2026 after completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Mining & Explosive Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He previously served as a summer intern with BRS in 2025, gaining valuable field experience that supported his transition into a full-time engineering role.
Mr. Mascarenas has experience assisting with construction site management and construction inspection on mine reclamation projects. His work has included support for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) drilling and grouting operations, where he has assisted with field coordination, project documentation, and quality assurance activities. He is proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MinePlan 3D, enabling him to support engineering design, drafting, and mine planning efforts.
As part of the BRS team, Mr. Mascarenas has contributed to construction inspection services for mine reclamation projects, including the AML 17.6D – Glenrock 9 Area C Drilling and Grouting Project. His combination of field experience, technical proficiency, and engineering education provides a strong foundation for supporting mining, reclamation, and geotechnical projects.
