Geological Engineer
Bachelors in Geological Engineering, Colorado School of Mines

Christopher Fischer joined BRS, Inc. as a Geological Engineer in 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. Since joining BRS, he has served as both a construction manager for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects and a field geologist supporting uranium exploration and mineral resource development projects throughout the western United States.

Mr. Fischer has experience managing construction activities for mine reclamation projects, including drilling and grouting operations, mine fire remediation, construction oversight, contractor coordination, and quality assurance. His responsibilities include monitoring project progress, documenting construction activities, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

In addition to his reclamation experience, Mr. Fischer has supported mineral exploration and resource development projects through geologic field investigations, core logging, geotechnical evaluations, exploration drilling support, groundwater monitoring, and geologic data collection. He is proficient in ArcGIS and applies geospatial analysis and mapping tools to support engineering and geological investigations.

His combined experience in construction management, engineering geology, and mineral exploration provides a strong foundation for supporting mining, reclamation, geotechnical, and environmental projects.
