Survey Technician

Andrew Moore joined BRS, Inc. as a Survey Technician in 2023. He is responsible for supporting surveying and mapping activities for mining, reclamation, and engineering projects through field data collection, drone operations, and geospatial analysis. His responsibilities include maintaining survey equipment, conducting volumetric surveys, auditing mineral properties, staking claims and project boundaries, and assisting with engineering and surveying projects using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other surveying and GIS software.

Mr. Moore has experience performing aerial surveys and volumetric analyses in support of Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects. He has contributed to survey control, topographic mapping, and quantity calculations for reclamation activities, as well as mineral property audits and claim staking for exploration projects. His technical expertise, combined with his field experience and commercial drone pilot certification, enables him to efficiently collect accurate survey data to support project planning, design, and construction.

Prior to joining BRS, Mr. Moore worked in the oil and gas industry as a Floor Hand, Rig Operator, and Motor Man, where he developed strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and field operations experience in demanding work environments.
