Professional Qualifications:

Mr. Shaw is a surveying and engineering technician with over 21 cumulative years of experience.  Mr. Shaw is experienced with Lecia GPS systems, several different Total Station survey instruments, and level instruments reading both Philadelphia and Linker rods.  Mr. Shaw is an experienced CAD specialist and has worked with all versions of AutoCAD as well as attended seminars on Land Desktop and training for Civil 3D. Mr. Shaw has extensive experience with AutoCad Civil 3d, Infraworks, GIS data, Global Mapper.

Representative Mine Land Reclamation Projects include:

AML 16G – Day Loma Project: This project consisted of 1,000 acres open pit and mine spoils and required services for various phases of the project including development of the master plan which emphasized natural regrade.  Mr. Shaw assisted with CAD design efforts and the preparation of the construction plan documents for current construction phases.

AML 16 N – D9 & K Pit Reclamation Project: This project reclaimed over 8,800 linear feet of highwall, restoring 235 acres of intensely disturbed mine lands and was the first project to utilize natural regrade methods in Wyoming.

AML 17H – Statewide Coal: Preparation of plans for numerous projects including underground closure and surface mine reclamation including natural regrade projects.

AML 7F5 – Hanna Sink Creek: Preparation of plans subsidence closure and surface mine reclamation, channel restoration, and storm water retention structures.

AML 16G – Dayloma Reclamation: Preparation of 11 phases of reclamation plan sets, assisted with natural regrade overall site design. Assisted in annual earthwork changes and updates. Prepared final As-Built mapping.

AML 16O – Mcintosh Pit Reclamation: Preparation of 5 phases of reclamation plan sets, assisted with natural regrade overall site design. Prepared final As-Built mapping.

AML 17.6B – Drill and Grout Mine Subsidence Mitigation: Preparation of 15 phases of drill and grout plan sets. Extensive work of underground mine modeling and historic mine map rectification. Prepared final As-Built mapping.

AML 63-P3-Old Monarch Channel Regrading Project: Preparation of construction plan set, assisted with natural regrade overall site design. Prepared final As-Built mapping.

AML 63-P3-Dave Johnston Mine Reclamation Project: Preparation of construction plan set, assisted with natural regrade overall site design. Prepared final As-Built mapping.

AML 17-G2-Mine Fires: Built database of statewide underground coal fires. Monitoring and inventory mapping.

Mr. Shaw has also participated in the preparation of over 100 technical drawings relative to the Sheep Mountain project ranging simple figures such as project location to detailed 3D renderings of existing, planned, and proposed reclaimed conditions.
